Opportunities to Adopt 5G

5th Generation technology is a commonly used term for the next advancement in wireless systems.  Wireless network companies are now testing and evaluating the 5G networks around the world.  5G deployments will begin to prove valuable quickly. 5G will make the connection faster and enables devices to be in communication with each other. The capabilities of every connected device and sensor, beyond mobile phones, will create opportunities for new services and solutions.

Because of 5G networks, the Internet of Things (IoT) industry is surging and expected to grow 3x in the next 4 years.  Gartner speculates that there will be 20.4 billion connected devices in the world by 2020, a number that will continue to rise. Current wireless infrastructures do not have the capacity to accommodate the anticipated number of devices and ensure exchange of information without minor lags. 5G will enable IoT devices to transfer large amounts of data in almost real-time.

5G is a game-changer; businesses need to start developing and reimagining services and products to leverage 5G’s superior capabilities for competitive advantages.

Now is the time to Invent the Future!

Meet 5G: the next generation of communication services. It will affect everybody, changing the way we work, communicate and interact with technology. It will rely on a harmonious integration of networks, driving a convergence of fixed, mobile and satcom services.

A Chinese medical research team has successfully completed a 5G-enabled remote robotic surgery test on a laboratory animal in Fuzhou City, east China's Fujian Province, paving the way for carrying out such surgeries on humans in the future.
